Description NP213 is a rapidly acting synthetic antimicrobial peptide (AMP). NP213 is effective and well-tolerated in resolving nail fungal infections. NP213 has anti-fungal activities. NP213 targets the fungal cytoplasmic membrane and plays its role via membrane perturbation and disruption.
In vivo NP213 demonstrates both tolerability and efficacy, with a half-life of approximately 4.5 hours in murine models of acute disseminated candidiasis. At a dosage of 25 mg/kg, NP213 is well-tolerated in mice [3].
