Cannabaceae

Cannabaceae is a small family of flowering plants, known as the hemp family, including about 170 species grouped in about 11 genera. Cannabis sativa L. (Cannabaceae) is one of the oldest medicinal plants used by humans. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), hemp seed, which is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, has been used in atopic dermatitis, inflammation, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) for many centuries.
