TargetMol's Protein A Agarose to the surface of highly cross-linked agarose gel microspheres in a high density orientation. While natural Protein A contains five IgG-binding regions as well as regions of unknown function, recombinant Protein A reduces non-specific adsorption by removing the albumin- and cell surface-binding sites and retaining only five IgG-binding regions. Recombinant Protein A is better suited to bind mouse IgG2a, IgG2b, IgA, rabbit IgG, and human IgG1, IgG2, and IgG4.
TargetMol's Protein A Agarose are suitable for the isolation and purification of IgG from samples such as cell lysates, cell secretion supernatants, serum, ascites, and more.
