Description
MBX 1066 exhibits cytotoxicity toward HeLa cells, with a CC50 value of 33 µg/mL.
In vitro
MBX 1066 exhibits cytotoxicity toward HeLa cells, with a CC50 value of 33 µg/mL.
In vivo
MBX 1066, administered intravenously at dosages of 1 and 10 mg/kg (i.v.; single dose, one hour post-infection), demonstrated antibacterial activity and enhanced survival rates in mice infected with Staphylococcus aureus strain NRS384 (ICR/Swiss Webster mice). This increase in survival was observed to be dose-dependent.
