TargetMol's Protein L Agarose to the surface of highly cross-linked agarose gel microspheres in a high density orientation. Recombinant Protein L is an immunoglobulin-binding protein that binds to the κ light chain of immunoglobulins without affecting their antigen-binding ability. Compared to other antibody-binding proteins such as Protein A and Protein G, Protein L has a broader range of Ig and its isoforms, binding not only all types of immunoglobulins (e.g., IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, and IgD), but also single-chain antibodies (scFv) and Fab fragments.
TargetMol's Protein L Agarose are suitable for the isolation and purification of IgG from samples such as cell lysates, cell secretion supernatants, serum, ascites, and more.
