INSL6 Protein, Human, Recombinant (His)

Catalog No. TMPY-05014
INSL6 (Insulin-Like 6) is a Protein Coding gene. An important paralog of this gene is RLN1. The protein encoded by this gene contains a classical signature of the insulin superfamily and is significantly similar to relaxin and relaxin-like factor. INSL6 is a newly identified insulin/relaxin family peptide hormone that is predominantly expressed by the male germ cells in testes. It may have a role in sperm development and fertilization. A recent murine study demonstrated that INSL6-knockout results in spermatogenic failure. Human and rat INSL6 encoded polypeptides of 213 and 188 amino acids, respectively. Diseases associated with INSL6 include Thrombocythemia 3 and Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute, With Lymphomatous Features.

Reconstitution
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) containing reconstitution instructions is included with the products. Please refer to the CoA for detailed information.
Stability & Storage
It is recommended to store recombinant proteins at -20°C to -80°C for future use. Lyophilized powders can be stably stored for over 12 months, while liquid products can be stored for 6-12 months at -80°C. For reconstituted protein solutions, the solution can be stored at -20°C to -80°C for at least 3 months. Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles and store products in aliquots.
ShippingIn general, Lyophilized powders are shipping with blue ice.
