In vitro
The chemical compound 3-MeOARh-NTR chloride, at a concentration of 10 μM for 30 minutes, elicited a strong fluorescent signal in live HeLa cells that had been incubated for 12 hours in reduced oxygen conditions (20% and 10% O₂) [1].
