AMCA-X, N-succinimidyl ester is an amine-reactive, UV-excitable, blue fluroscent dye.
In vitro
Amca-xse is an amino reactive blue fluorescent dye, which is widely used to label proteins and other biomolecules containing primary or secondary amines. The solution can be prepared with anhydrous DMF or DMSO. The coupling reaction is PH dependent (pH ~ 8.5) . AMCA-X, SE has high fluorescence quantum yield and can emit bright fluorescence. Its excitation wavelength match perfectly with the exposure spectrum of mercury lamp.
