Description | Anti-inflammatory agent 91 (Compound 4o) is a chemical compound known for its efficacy in reducing inflammatory cytokines by inhibiting the STAT3 and NF-κB signaling pathways. It is utilized in research to study its potential in ameliorating skin inflammation associated with psoriasis. |
In vitro | Compound 4o (Anti-inflammatory agent 91) at concentrations of 10-80 μM for 24 hours does not significantly affect the viability of HaCaT cells. However, when used at 10-40 μM for 2 hours, it significantly reduces the levels of NO (IC 50 = 19.5 μM), TNF-α, and IL-6 in RAW264.7 cells, as well as IL-17A in HaCaT cells, when induced by LPS (1 μg/mL; 24 h). This demonstrates its anti-inflammatory activity in these cell lines. |
In vivo | The anti-inflammatory agent 91 (Compound 4o) (25-100 mg/kg;) enhances psoriasis conditions in mice induced by imiquimod by inhibiting inflammatory cytokines. |
Storage | Powder: -20°C for 3 years | In solvent: -80°C for 1 year | Shipping with blue ice. |
