Borofalan (also known as SPM 011) is an adjuvant compound used in boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) for cancer treatment. With the use of borofalan (10B)-containing C-BENS, BNCT has demonstrated effective therapeutic potential in patients with R-SCC or R/LA-nSCC of the head and neck.
