| In vivo | Dopamine D4 receptor antagonist-1, administered intraperitoneally at a dosage of 10 mg/kg in a single dose, exhibits an inhibitory effect on catecholaminergic systems, specifically leading to increased dopamine (DOPA) accumulation in the hippocampus, with no significant effect on the striatum [1]. This observation was made in male Long-Evans rats weighing 180-250 g, dopamine D4 receptor locus knockout mice (D4 KO), and wild-type rats (WT). |
