Description | Gatipotuzumab (PankoMab) is a novel humanized monoclonal antibody conjugated to the tumor-associated epitope of mucin 1 (TA-MUC1) with potential anti-tumor activity for the study of recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer. |
Targets&IC50 | MCF-7 cells:3.84 nM (KD), NM-D4 cells:0.91 nM (KD), ZR75-1 cells:3.03 nM (KD), T47D cells:7.14 nM (KD) |
In vitro | Gatipotuzumab can effectively bind to a short MUC1 peptide consisting of 30 amino acids and containing 1.5 TRs. When this peptide is glycosylated with GalNAcα at the T position of the PDTRP sequence, it forms a strong bond; however, no binding occurs when the peptide is not glycosylated. Within 1 hour of treatment, Gatipotuzumab demonstrates high affinity for tumor cells, with KD values of 0.91, 3.03, 3.84, and 7.14 nM for NM-D4, ZR75-1, MCF-7, and T-47D, respectively. After 4 hours of treatment at concentrations ranging from 0 to 5 μg/mL, Gatipotuzumab exhibits specific antibody-dependent cytotoxic activity against tumors. [2] |
