In vivo | JJC8-088, administered intraperitoneally at doses of 3-30 mg/kg for 30 to 120 minutes, effectively reduces compulsive methamphetamine self-administration in rats and enhances their locomotor activity [1]. Additionally, JJC8-088, given at 0-30 mg/kg intraperitoneally 30 minutes prior to testing, induces a rapid and significant increase in extracellular dopamine (DA) levels in rats with a history of cocaine self-administration [2]. Animal Model: Methamphetamine-addicted male Wistar rats (6-8 weeks old; weighing 200-250 g) [1]. Dosage: 0/3/10/30 mg/kg. Administration: intraperitoneal. Result: The half-life of JJC8-088 is 39 minutes, with low concentrations observed in both brain and plasma. |
