In vitro
MAO A/HDAC-IN-1 (compound 15) enhances histone H3 and α-tubulin acetylation, inducing cell death through nonapoptotic mechanisms [1].
In vivo
Compound 15 (MAO A/HDAC-IN-1) decreases tumor size, lowers MAO A activity in both brain and tumor tissues, and extends survival [1].
