TMV-IN-1 (compound N2) demonstrates effective curative and protective activities against TMV, with EC50 values of 70.7 μg/mL and 60.8 μg/mL, respectively [1]. It binds to the TMV coat protein (TMV-CP) with a Kd value of 0.0427 μM [1] and reduces malondialdehyde accumulation while increasing defense enzyme content over 5-7 days [1].
