Description | Trans-Resveratrol-3-O-β-D-Glucuronide, an active metabolite of trans-resveratrol, inhibits the proliferation of various intestinal cancer cell lines. Additionally, this compound enhances pyruvate production in the liver [1] [2] [3]. |
In vitro | trans-Resveratrol-3-O-β-D-Glucuronide inhibits the proliferation of CCL-228, Caco-2, and HCT-116 cells with IC 50 values of 15.8 μM, 16.5 μM, and 10.1 μM, respectively, after 48 hours [2]. At a concentration of 30 μM over 48 hours, it induces S phase arrest in these cell lines [2]. Additionally, trans-Resveratrol-3-O-β-D-Glucuronide, at 200 μM for 10 minutes, increases pyruvate production in the liver of rats with complete Freund's adjuvant-induced arthritis [3]. |
