| In vitro | As a pharmacological control, cells undergo treatment with escalating doses of TRC-766, a compound structurally akin to PP2A (SMAP) yet devoid of biological activity. TRC-766's absence of a critical N-H sulfonamide hydrogen bond donor differentiates it from active counterparts. Although it binds to PP2A, TRC-766 fails to trigger the phosphatase's activation, leading to the hypothesis that it does not impact cell viability[1]. |
