Description

It also impedes Aβ aggregation, exhibits favorable blood-brain barrier permeability, offers neuroprotection, and enhances cognitive and spatial memory in rat models [1].
In vitro
AChE/Aβ-IN-1 (compound 32) inhibits the aggregation of Aβ1-42 (10 μM) at concentrations of 5-20 μM over 48 hours [1].
In vivo
Compound 32, designated as AChE/Aβ-IN-1, at a dosage of 10 mg/kg/day administered orally for 7 days, mitigated memory deficits in rats induced by Aβ1-42 and decreased the time spent in the platform area of the Morris Water Maze [1].
