Description
Angiotensin II (3-8), human (TFA), is an angiotensin AT1 receptor agonist with reduced activity.
In vivo
In anesthetized rats, Human Angiotensin II (3-8) induces endothelium-dependent renal cortical vasodilation. At doses up to 125 pmol/kg, it exerts no cardiovascular effects. However, at doses of 1.25 and 12.5 nmol/kg, it causes dose-dependent elevations in mean arterial blood pressure along with decreases in renal and mesenteric flows and vascular conductances.
