In vitro
Antibacterial agent 227 exhibits significant inhibitory effects on the planktonic cultures of S. aureus 25923 at concentrations ranging from 0-32 µg/ml. However, it does not demonstrate antimicrobial activity against the Gram-negative bacterium E. coli.
