In vitro
Anticancer agent 72, also known as compound 8c, exhibits inhibitory effects on a range of cancer cell lines, including PC3, MCF-7, HeLa, SKBr3, and A549. The respective half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) values are 17.58 μM for PC3, 5.55 μM for MCF-7, 0.54 μM for HeLa, 11.13 μM for SKBr3, and 20.40 μM for A549 cells.
