In vitro
Catechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (10 μg/mL; 24 h) demonstrates protective effects against Streptozotocin-induced cell damage by exhibiting antioxidant properties and alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction [3].
In vivo
Catechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside administered intraperitoneally at 10 mg/kg demonstrated a moderate protective effect against LPS/D-GalN-induced mortality [1]. Orally administered at the same dose for seven days, this compound mitigated intestinal inflammation in the TNBS-induced rat colitis model [2].
