Description
DL-AP7, a competitive NMDA antagonist and anticonvulsant, blocks NMDA-induced convulsions and impairs learning performance in mice during a passive avoidance task [1].
In vivo
DL-AP7, when administered intracerebroventricularly (ICV), inhibits convulsions triggered by NMDA with an effective dose (ED 50) of 0.22 nmol/mouse. Additionally, it detrimentally affects the ability of mice to learn in a passive avoidance task [1].
