Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate trisodium (Guanosine 5'-[β,γ-imido]triphosphate), a non-hydrolysable GTP analogue, activates ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) and strongly stimulates adenylate cyclase. It is utilized in protein synthesis studies [1] [2] [3].

Description | Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate trisodium (Guanosine 5'-[β,γ-imido]triphosphate), a non-hydrolysable GTP analogue, activates ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) and strongly stimulates adenylate cyclase. It is utilized in protein synthesis studies [1] [2] [3]. |
In vitro | Guanylyl Imidodiphosphate trisodium (GppNHp) at a concentration of 100 μM triggers the release of dense granules from permeabilized platelets upon calcium ion stimulation. Moreover, the sensitivity of these platelets to calcium is increased by GTP-Ral, a process that is obstructed by Sec5-RBD [1]. Additionally, varying doses of GppNHp (0.017-333 μM) notably decrease the latency period for activating adenylate cyclase activity [3]. |
