Description
Homo-phytochelatin, a heavy metal chelator, is present in legumes [1].
In vitro
CSP-1 (10 μM, 30 min) generates cAMP, which stimulates intracellular calcitonin receptors and disrupts the actin ring in osteoclasts, leading to the inactivation of multinucleated osteoclasts and consequently inhibiting the formation of osteoclasts [1].
