In vivo | Imidocarb dipropionate is administered to horses (3.4 mg/kg bw) and cattle (2.1 mg/kg bw) via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Horses may receive up to four doses at 72-hour intervals, with a second dose possible two weeks after the first. In sheep (1.2 mg/kg bw), it is used to treat babesiosis and anaplasmosis. The acute oral LD50 values of Imidocarb dipropionate are 646-723 mg/kg bw in mice and 454-1251 mg/kg bw in rats. |
