Description	JBSNF-000028 is an orally active inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), with inhibitory concentration (IC50) values of 0.033 µM for human NNMT (hNNMT), 0.19 µM for monkey NNMT (mkNNMT), and 0.21 µM for mouse NNMT (mNNMT). This compound may be utilized in the study of metabolic disorders [1].
In vitro	JBSNF-000028, over a 24-hour period (24 h), effectively inhibits the activity of Nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) with a half-maximal effective concentration (EC50) of 2µM.
In vivo	JBSNF-000028 administered at 50 mg/kg orally, twice daily, enhances glucose and lipid metabolism over 27 days in mice with diet-induced obesity (DIO) [1], and improves glucose tolerance after 4 weeks in NNMT knockout mice also with DIO [1].
