Description
Laurolitsine hydrochloride, shows weak anti-inflammatory activity,is an alkaloid isolated from Phoebe formosana.
In vitro
Boldine, laurolitsine and litebamine (300 μM) remarkedly inhibit the aggregation of rabbit platelets induced by arachidonic acid (100 μM) and collagen (10 μM/mL), and slightly inhibit that induced by ADP (20 μM).Laurolitsine shows weak anti-inflammatory activity against NO production in RAW 267.4 and BV-2 cells.
