Quercetin 3-O-malonylglucoside is a quercetin O -glucoside and flavonoid, a natural metabolite with potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity.
In vitro
Quercetin 3-O-malonylglucoside (1-1000 μM) exhibits excellent antioxidant capacity in a cell-free environment and is unable to effectively protect mitochondria from lipid peroxidation, but can prevent protein thiol consumption at lower concentrations.[2]
