Description
RTC13 is a read-through reagent that restores anti-myasthenia gravis protein expression in the mdx mouse model of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).
In vivo
Wild-type (C57BL/10) mice received intraperitoneal injections of RTC13 at different doses of 10, 30, 60, and 300 mg/kg.During autopsy, no significant changes in the weights of the liver and kidneys were observed. In addition, histological examination by hemoglobin and eosin (H&E) staining showed no histopathological changes in these organs. [1]
