Description
Saperconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal triazole (MIC90: 0.19 mg/L).
In vitro
The antifungal activity of Saperconazole is complete at 1 μg/mL, with 80% of all strains, including 85% of A. fumigatus, showing no growth at 0.1 μg/mL over the 14-day test period[2].
In vivo
Saperconazole (2.5 mg/kg) administered, is not active, but when it is given at 5 or 10 mg/kg, 92 or 100%, respectively, survive and organ cultures are negative.[2].
