Tubulin inhibitor 15 is a potent tubulin inhibitor with antiproliferative activity, exhibiting cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells [1].

Tubulin inhibitor 15 (compound 6) (0-25 μM, 24 h followed by a 72 h compound-free incubation period) exhibits antiproliferative activity with IC50 values of 1.60, 0.22, 1.40, 0.68, 0.47, 0.21, and >25 μM against MCF7, MDA-MB-231, HepG2, SNU423, A549, HCT116, and THLE-3 cells, respectively [1]. In a Cell Proliferation Assay (0-50 μM, 96 h), the IC50 values were 0.68, 0.21, 3.03, 0.60, 0.38, and 0.19 μM for MCF7, MDA-MB-231, HepG2, SNU423, A549, and HCT116 cells, respectively [1]. In a Cell Cytotoxicity Assay with HepG2 cells (0.5, 1 μM, 14 days), no colonies were evident [1].
