In vitro
Tubulin inhibitor 33 (Compound 3a) at 0-5 nM concentrations over 24-48 hours inhibits proliferation, migration, and colony formation in HepG-2 tumor cells, while inducing G2/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis [1].
In vivo
Tubulin inhibitor 33 (Compound 3a), administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 5 mg/kg daily for a duration of 14 days, significantly inhibited melanoma tumor growth with a Tumor Growth Inhibition (TGI) of 62.96% [1].
