Bioactivity
Description
DNMDP is a phosphodiesterase 3A inhibitor with clear cell-selective cytotoxicity. DNMDP binding to PDE3A promotes interaction between PDE3A and Schlafen 12.
In vitro
DNMDP (0-1000 μM; 48 hours) exhibits cell-selective cytotoxicity, inducing apoptosis in HeLa cells as evidenced by caspase activity and PARP cleavage. DNMDP (100 nM) specifically inhibits PDE3A and PDE3B, while showing weak inhibition of PDE10 and minimal to no effect on other phosphodiesterases.
