In vitro
Hyperforin dicyclohexylammonium salt shows a multi-directional mechanism of action. It also blocks the conductance of ligand-gated (GABA, NMDA, and AMPA receptors) and voltage-gated channels (Ca2+, K+, and Na+)[2].
