In vitro
Antibacterial agent 34 (Compound 16) significantly reduces the Minimal Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) values for Ceftazidime, demonstrating enhanced efficacy against E. coli strains NCTC 1335 1 (MIC=1 mcg/ml), E. coli M50 (MIC=2 mcg/ml), and E. coli 7MP (MIC=4 mcg/ml)[1], as documented in patent WO2013030735A1 for Compound 16.
