In vitro
Beraprost sodium treatment leads to a significant increase in the number of tube formation, BPS plays an important role on angiogenic activity.
In vivo
Beraprost sodium oral adminstration can mitigate the development of renal interstitial fibrosis, decrease renal oxidative stress through its potential vasodilation effect, and further prevent renal interstitial fibrosis.
