Description
CMLD012073 is a potent eukaryotic initiation factor 4A (eIF4A) inhibitor. It inhibits NIH/3T3 cells (IC50: 10 nM). CMLD012073 inhibits eukaryotic translation initiation by modifying the behavior of the RNA helicase (eIF4A).
In vitro
In vitro translation assays demonstrate that CMLD012073 effectively inhibits cap-dependent translation (FF). Additionally, CMLD012073 impedes the assembly of the 80S ribosome on the mRNA in ribosome recruitment experiments.
