Description
Gypenoside LXXV, derived from Gynostemma pentaphyllum, is a deglycosylated form of ginsenoside Rb1. This compound effectively decreases cancer cell viability and exhibits potent anti-cancer properties.
In vitro
Gypenoside LXXV administered at concentrations ranging from 1.0 to 100 μM for 48 hours effectively decreases cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner across three cancer cell lines: HeLa (cervical cancer), B16 (melanoma), and MDA-MB231 (human breast cancer). A concentration of 50 μM was notably effective, significantly reducing proliferation and nearly inhibiting all targeted cancer cells[1].
