Description
HER2-IN-11 is a psoralen derivative that induces apoptosis, exhibits light-activated cytotoxicity, and demonstrates anti-breast cancer activity [1].
In vitro
HER2-IN-11 (50 μM) exhibits phototoxicity against SK-BR-3 cells with an IC₅₀ of 2.71 μM [1]. HER2-IN-11 (1-50 μM; 48 h) alters SK-BR-3 cell morphology under UVA irradiation and raises the apoptotic index [1]. Apoptosis Analysis [1] Cell Line: SK-BR-3 cells Concentration: 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 50 μM Incubation Time: 48 hours Result: Higher concentrations (10, 20, and 50 μM) lead to cells breaking down into apoptotic bodies, while lower concentrations (1, 2.5, and 5 μM) cause cell shrinkage and plasma membrane blebbing.
