In vivo
Administering loreclezole (10, 25, 50, or 75 mg/kg, intraperitoneally, 60 minutes prior to assessing seizure threshold) to adult male Lister Hooded rats elicited a dose-dependent increase in seizure threshold, determined by the required dose of pentylenetetrazol to induce convulsion 60 minutes post-administration. Additionally, loreclezole demonstrated minimal impact on muscle tone loss, gauged by the "pull-up" test[3].
