In vitro
The downregulation of Notch 1 and Jagged1 in human prostate cancer cell lines reduces in vitro invasion and cell growth. It has also been demonstrated to enhance the survival and proliferation of mouse luminal prostate cells via activation of the NF-κB prosurvival pathway[2].
