Description	Rhodiocyanoside A (Multifidin) is a flavonoid that can be extracted from Rhodiola, showing inhibitory activity against histamine release from peritoneal exudate cells sensitized with anti-2,4-dinitrophenyl IgE in rats.
In vitro	Methods: Rhodiocyanoside A (0.01mM-0.1mM) was used to treat rat peritoneal exudate cells to observe its inhibitory effect on histamine release. Results: Rhodiocyanoside A inhibited histamine release from rat peritoneal exudate cells in a concentration-dependent manner.
In vivo	Methods: Rhodiocyanoside A (100 mg/kg, intravenous injection) was used to treat rats and the effect on passive cutaneous allergy (PCA) was observed. Results: Rhodiocyanoside A can significantly inhibit PCA reaction.
