In vivo
Following intravenous (IV) injection, Ibafloxacin exhibits a swift initial distribution characterized by a mean half-life of 0.35 hours, succeeded by a more gradual elimination phase with a mean half-life of 3.76 hours. The elimination half-life of Ibafloxacin after oral administration has been documented as 3.83 hours in dogs and 3.00 hours in cats[1].
