DSPE-PEG-Azide (MW 2000) is a reagent for click chemistry that contains an azide group capable of binding to molecules possessing an alkyne group via a copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc). In addition, it can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-acridine cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules possessing DBCO or BCN groups.
