Description
ATF3 Inducer 1 is a potent activator of ATF3, enhancing both ATF3 protein and mRNA levels, and exhibits anti-metabolic syndrome (anti-MetS) activity in mice [1].
In vitro
ATF3 inducer 1 (compound 16c) at 50 μM over 8 days increases ATF3 protein and mRNA levels in 3T3-L1 cells [1].
In vivo
"ATF3 inducer 1 exhibited anti-MetS activity at a dosage of 40 mg/kg, administered intraperitoneally three times weekly over a 10-week period in mice [1]."
