In vivo
H-Arg-OtBu (dihydrochloride) (0.3% solutions, thrice daily) showed no signs of corneal inflammation or inflammatory response in rabbit corneal wound healing models and was effective against Staphylococcus aureus and MRSA when administered five times daily in a mouse corneal infection model [1].
