In vivo
Sigma-1 receptor antagonist 4 (0–60 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection; single dose) enhanced the analgesic effect induced by morphine in a dose-dependent manner within a range of 40 mg/kg [1]. At 30 mg/kg (intraperitoneal injection; single dose), Sigma-1 receptor antagonist 4 potentiated the antinociceptive effect by augmenting the MOR agonist action of morphine [1].
