Description
CDDO-2P-Im shows chemopreventive effect and reduces the size and severity of the lung tumors in the mouse lung cancer model.
In vitro
In RAW264.7 cells, CDDO-2P-Im suppresses NO production (IC50: 5.8 nM). CDDO-2P-Im (100 nM) induces differentiation of U937 cells[1].
In vivo
CDDO-2P-Im significantly elevates heme oxygenase-1 and quinone reductase mRNA and protein levels. In A/J mice, CDDO-2P-Im (50-200 mg/kg) decreases the number, size, and severity of tumors[1].
