Bioactivity
Description
SSTC3 is a casein kinase 1α (CK1α) activator and a potent HIF1α inhibitor, each with a Kd of 32 nM. It has potential antitumor activity, inhibits WNT signaling, and suppresses SHH medulloblastoma tumor growth.
In vitro
In colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines, the results of SSTC3 (0-1 μM; 5 days) indicate that SSTC3 decreased cell viability[1].
In vivo
In five-week-old Apcmin mice, SSTC3 (10 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection, for 1 month) inhibited the growth of tumors driven by Apc mutation[1].
